The Horizon Europe project metaCCAZE continues progressing with the release of Deliverable 4.2: Follower LLs: co-design activities, implementation preparations, monitoring plan. This Deliverable marks an important step towards transferring the project’s innovative mobility solutions from the four Trailblazer Cities (Amsterdam, Munich, Limassol, and Tampere), to the six Follower Cities (Athens, Kraków, Malta-Gozo, Milan, Miskolc, and Poissy/Yvelines).
The deliverable emphasises three aspects. First, these solutions are not simply replicated from one city to another, but adapted as locally-owned solutions considering site-specific constraints. Secondly, it helps Follower cities to be operationally ready for deployment, providing plans detailing specific objectives, technologies, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure each including detailed roadmaps for the upcoming project phases: Integration & Testing and Wide-scale Demonstration. Thirdly, it promotes mutual learning and collective problem-solving through structured workshops and peer-to-peer channels, setting up a framework for collaborative activities where Trailblazer and Followers Cities can learn from and build on it.
With Deliverable D4.2, metaCCAZE now has a practical roadmap for transforming high-level technical designs into a localised urban reality. While its primary audience includes project partners, it provides useful guidance and transferable experience for external stakeholders, such as municipal authorities and mobility practitioners, interested in the resilient deployment of zero-emission shared mobility solutions.
