The first round of focus groups facilitated by the MaaSLab Institute as part of the metaCCAZE project has successfully launched in Limassol. These workshops bring together parents and guardians to shape an innovative transport-on-demand service designed to make family schedules easier and transform mobility for students’ afternoon activities.
In January 2025, the MaasLab Institute hosted a focus group of parents and guardians. Participants provided valuable insights into the daily transport challenges families face. Key priorities identified include safety, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, which will guide the development of the service. This community-centered approach ensures the platform aligns with the real needs of Limassol’s families.
With pilot testing planned for this summer and a full launch in September 2025, the service is set to transform school transport in Limassol. Community participation is vital to its success, and future sessions are open to parents, guardians, and educators eager to contribute to this innovative solution.
